Forever Home Collection

Yarn Dogs is a special collection released by Yarn Marketplace, in collaboration with the Animal Welfare League Queensland (AWLQ), a non-profit dedicated to rehoming dogs. Featuring dog accessories adorned with vibrant First Nations designs created by Indigenous artists, this collection celebrates culture, community, and compassion while donating $2 to AWLQ with every purchase.

The Approach

The creative direction leaned into warmth and playfulness, each dog featured in the campaign is a real animal available for adoption, so the design needed to make people fall in love, not feel sorry. A bold, expressive visual language helped shift the emotional register from pity to celebration, keeping the Indigenous artwork at the centre without it feeling tokenistic. Campaign materials spanned digital, social, and print, ensuring the collection had a consistent presence across every touchpoint.

The Outcome

The Forever Home Collection launched to strong commercial results, generating over $10,000 in donations going directly to AWLQ's rehoming efforts. Beyond the numbers, the campaign gave abandoned dogs a visible, dignified platform and helped Yarn Marketplace connect their audience to a cause that genuinely matters.
